“Emma Nelson has been training me as my cycling coach for over one year. I mountain bike race competitively and I hired Emma as my coach. Emma has taught me how to train smarter and has given me an edge over my competition. Once my training with Emma started, I immediately began to view fitness and training from an entirely new perspective. I have been riding bikes and lifting weights for over 25 years, however, within one week of training with Emma my entire routine was transformed into a more intelligent and time efficient program. Emma taught me how to effectively train using my heart rate and my cadence as guides. She emphasized the importance of core strength and transformed my strength building routine into a more modern regimen which constantly engages the core muscles. “For many years I had my own fitness routine and worked out by myself. When I saw other people working out with trainers I thought it was only necessary for newcomers or people trying to rehabilitate a specific injury. However, after attending some of Emma’s fitness classes and because we share a passion for cycling, I thought I’d try a private session or two just to see how good she was.
